Privacy Policy
BenchBoost (“the App”) is provided by Ross Wright (“we”, “us”). This policy explains how the App handles information.
Summary
BenchBoost stores your training data only on your device. We do not operate user accounts, we do not collect personal data on our servers, and we do not sell data.
Information the App stores
If you use the App, the following may be saved locally on your iPhone or iPad:
- Bodyweight
- Lift weights, reps, and calculated one-rep max (1RM) values
- Workout history used for progress graphs
- App preferences (for example, onboarding completion and weekly front-raise tracking)
This information never leaves your device unless you choose to share it yourself (for example by taking a screenshot or using device backup).
Data we do not collect
- Name, email, or account credentials
- Location
- Contacts, photos, or microphone/camera data
- Advertising identifiers for tracking across apps
- Analytics or crash reports sent to us (none are integrated at this time)
Third parties
The App does not include third-party analytics, advertising, or social SDKs. Distribution through the Apple App Store is subject to Apple’s privacy terms.
Children
The App is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
Data retention and deletion
Data remains on your device until you delete it (for example by resetting in Settings, deleting the App, or erasing the device). Uninstalling the App removes locally stored App data.
Changes
We may update this policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date at the top will change when we do.
